World Water Day

I just learned much more about water in those few paragraphs then I thought I ever would. I learned that about 30% of the food produced worldwide, is wasted. Although, healthier diets and awareness campaigns will all help the amount of food wasted, thereby reduce the amount of water wasted. I think it’s awesome that we have people in the world that will go out to help things like this. Help spread the news to everyone that World Water Day is officially on March 22.

My Spring Break!

Over my spring break I would enjoy spending time with my close friend in college. I would be spending the weekend with her and learning how to handle the stress and excitement of being in college… but without the homework and all the other hard stuff. After I come back from that I just wanna relax and take a week off from all the work kids have to do.(;  My mom also said I could get a new cat. I have been wanting a new cat ever since my old cat ran away to find a girlfriend. If all of that happen, I would be one happy girl!

The Flash

My heart beats

10 times a second

I already have

chill bumps

on my arms and legs

I get ready

to go on stage

and let the spot light

shine on me

I get pumped

I go on stage

and rock it

HARD!

I’m finished and go backstage

and I’m sweating like crazy

with a flash I wake up

and remember

I had a MAJOR

math test

there goes my heart again

beating 10 times a second

My Horrible Loss

It was the night of March-8-2011. I was eating macaroni and cheese with franks.  When I noticed that my fish, Sushi, was just laying at the bottom of his fish tank. I called my mom in there and she tapped on the glass, and Sushi swam up and then he was fine. Although the morning of March-9-11 was when it happened. My mom was pouring him into the cup to pour into the toilet. My fish had die. He was a good fish. I loved so dearly and he was a nice decoration for our island. My mom said “You know we aren’t getting another fish right?” I said “Yes”, and moved on with my life. But once I have something on my heart I can’t let it go.

The Magnificent Sense ♥

It’s the sensation that you feel when that purple, fizzy skittles touches with your tongue, when you bite into that chocolate, sprinkle do-nut because of the warmth of the dough. You won’t be able to feel that with out your sense of taste. The sense of taste absolutely has to be my favorite sense because of the experience with your tongue that you feel with it. Either just chewing a piece of bubble gum or biting into the juiciest apple ever. Although there is an up-side to all of this, if I were to loose my sense of taste I could eat all the healthy stuff I wanted and it wouldn’t matter!  So I could eat all the green beans my mom wanted me to and I wouldn’t complain. I would never ever want to loose my sense of taste.

To Make the World a Better Place

1. Go against what other people think and take a chance for life and freedom.

2. Put up signs that say “FREEDOM”, “Anything is possible”, or “There’s no obstacle”.

3. Reduce:  Use less of. Use less water bottles and more plastic that you can use over and over again.

4. Reuse:  Reuse water bottles over and over again, reuse newspaper to make pencils, or for a doggy potty.

5. Recycle: Recycle by giving your local newspaper, when you’re done, to a dog pound, or recycle your clothes to a charity or a resale shop.

The Surpising Shoebox

It was the weekend before Christmas at 3:30 and I was at my grandma’s house. It was my grandma, my grandpa, my aunt, my dad, my mom, my brother, and me. We were going to eat a short lunch before we opened up presents but I thought it felt like infinity because it was a rather long lunch because everyone ate just the same as a turtle, very slow. Although after that everyone had to catch up with everyone and they had to watch some football because a game was on. Eventually present opening had begun. My brother went first. He teared into the present like a lion with its pray but he opened up a macaroni box and he thought he had got a macaroni box. He was so excited, not really, but inside the box was a year subscription to Xbox live for one year and 4,000 Microsoft points. My aunt opened up her’s next and she got black boots and an owl necklace that my family had gave her. Then it was my turn. The big Kahoka. I had opened up a shoe box and inside was an envelope. That had a card in it. The card had held a $100 bill. It was for the miss me jeans I had wanted but she couldn’t find them. I was so surprised! I hadn’t seen a $100 bill before. I ran up to them and thanked my grandparents for my present. That night I went to sleep so happy with my gift and remember how blessed I was.

My Trip to Mexico

It was a blazin’ hot, last week of July, summer day. We left at 5:45on a Saturday morning, in the car off to Galveston Texas. To a 6 day 5 night cruise!!

We arrived at about 11:45 and the line was shorter than I thought. But it took 30 to 45 minutes to get checked to make sure that I was really me. After we got on the gigantic Carnival Cruise ship, we had to wait until 1:30 pm just to see our rooms. At 1:35pm we saw our tiny room!

On the cruise another family went on the cruise with us. Frank (the dad), Kristy (the mom), Christopher (he’s 14), and Chelsea (she’s my age). I played with Chelsea all week long.

There was an awesome water park but we couldn’t go on the water slides until 4:00pm (4:00 pm is when the boat started moving) so at 4:30 we got on our swimsuits and headed off. We had to wait because there was a safety brief and we wanted to see the boat take off.

When we first went down the big yellow slide it was so….. AWESOME!!! So we kept doing it over and over again. After that we got a towel and went to the all-day free buffet and we got some ice cream.

After two days we stopped in Progresso Mexico! We shopped a lot but bargained even more. I got a wrap in my hair that was blue, pink, and black and Chelsea got corn rolls in her hair. At 2:00pm we got back on the boat. Chelsea and I headed to the water slides. Once we got tired with that we went to the candy shop! The candy was so good! Chelsea got a giant jawbreaker! So she went off licking that.

The next day was a fun day at sea. We did all kinds of crazy stuff like race down the stairs. There were 4 decks of stairs and we went from the very top floor to the very last floor. That’s 12 floors!!

The next day we went to Cozamel Mexico and we went to a resort. We zip lined and snorkeled and we got to play on the beach. It was totally wicked awesome!!!

The next day was a fun day at sea and there was an ice sculpture and he made an Indian’s head. It was so cool!

Next day we were headed home I had a fun time and a great experience! Bye sea hello land!
