My Trip to Mexico

It was a blazin’ hot, last week of July, summer day. We left at 5:45on a Saturday morning, in the car off to Galveston Texas. To a 6 day 5 night cruise!!

We arrived at about 11:45 and the line was shorter than I thought. But it took 30 to 45 minutes to get checked to make sure that I was really me. After we got on the gigantic Carnival Cruise ship, we had to wait until 1:30 pm just to see our rooms. At 1:35pm we saw our tiny room!

On the cruise another family went on the cruise with us. Frank (the dad), Kristy (the mom), Christopher (he’s 14), and Chelsea (she’s my age). I played with Chelsea all week long.

There was an awesome water park but we couldn’t go on the water slides until 4:00pm (4:00 pm is when the boat started moving) so at 4:30 we got on our swimsuits and headed off. We had to wait because there was a safety brief and we wanted to see the boat take off.

When we first went down the big yellow slide it was so….. AWESOME!!! So we kept doing it over and over again. After that we got a towel and went to the all-day free buffet and we got some ice cream.

After two days we stopped in Progresso Mexico! We shopped a lot but bargained even more. I got a wrap in my hair that was blue, pink, and black and Chelsea got corn rolls in her hair. At 2:00pm we got back on the boat. Chelsea and I headed to the water slides. Once we got tired with that we went to the candy shop! The candy was so good! Chelsea got a giant jawbreaker! So she went off licking that.

The next day was a fun day at sea. We did all kinds of crazy stuff like race down the stairs. There were 4 decks of stairs and we went from the very top floor to the very last floor. That’s 12 floors!!

The next day we went to Cozamel Mexico and we went to a resort. We zip lined and snorkeled and we got to play on the beach. It was totally wicked awesome!!!

The next day was a fun day at sea and there was an ice sculpture and he made an Indian’s head. It was so cool!

Next day we were headed home I had a fun time and a great experience! Bye sea hello land!
